Not long after he was dressed as a cat in the Big Brother house. From the sublime to the ridiculous. Oh well.SteveFhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06089429778294973157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7879623137966001912.post-33704391753789252742008-04-29T13:25:00.000+01:002008-04-29T13:25:00.000+01:00I agree with you about George Galloway, although h...I agree with you about George Galloway, although his demolition of that Senator was a joy to behold.

However, you may have misunderstood the posting. The quote was from The Strategic Voter.
Thanks for your good wishes, we are working night and day to get the vote out on Thursday.Noel Lynchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06131456043345954737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7879623137966001912.post-47789047106962768142008-04-29T12:10:00.000+01:002008-04-29T12:10:00.000+01:00The trouble is Noel, a vote for Galloway isn't a p...The trouble is Noel, a vote for Galloway isn't a progressive one, it's a vote for a dubious demagogue. There is nothing progressive about his closeness to foreign dictators, knee jerk anti-Americanism etc etc. Indeed, I believe a vote for him would be a profoundly illiberal one.

I'll be voting Green not because it would be a waste to vote for Galloway, but because it is the most sensible one for someone who cares about environmental issues and social justice. I don't agree with all Green Party stances (I'm more open to the idea of GM crops for example). However, the vast majority of policies are sensible and very appealing to me. Hopefully we'll be able to add yourself and Sian to the assembly to carry on the good work.

Good luck!SteveFhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06089429778294973157noreply@blogger.com
